GIVING

The way we use money is a great way for us to show that Jesus’ values are radically different – both individually and as a Church.

As the Finance Team, we want to ensure that the Grace finances are managed in a way that honours God – that we are efficient, effective, full of integrity and transparent. We also want the Grace income to be enough to meet our objectives and that how the Church spends the money reflects God’s concerns both locally and around the world.
It’s a great privilege to serve God by giving of our time, skills and money, all in response to his giving up his most treasured Son, Jesus.

Most members of Grace give regularly, by monthly standing order. In addition, we now receive gifts through an online payment system in conjunction with Stewardship services: www.give.net

We are able to claim back Gift Aid from the government on donations from UK tax payers. We have a stewardship pack (below) with lots of helpful hints and tips on our responsibilities to God.

The information below will give you a little more detail about giving at Grace.

CHRIS

COME AND SAY HELLO

Hi, my name is Chris and my wife Becky and I have been members of Grace for 35 years! I am a Chartered accountant and have worked in London at a large international school for nearly 20 years. My role at Grace includes overseeing the Church finances and working with other volunteers on the Finance Team.

Personally, I am moved by God’s clear compassion for the poor and needy in our world and his call to stand up against injustice and oppression. We lived as a family for four years in one of the poorest parts of Africa and we maintain regular contact with our friends there. It is wrong that today 1 in 7 people are hungry every day and I hope that at Grace we can help change our world as we help tackle these issues in the future.
