Families, Children and Youth

HERE FOR FAMILIES

At Grace, we love families – and we want to support you, whatever stage you’re at.

We know family life can be busy, full, and sometimes challenging.

Our aim is to create a space where:

  • children feel safe, happy and included

  • parents feel supported and encouraged

  • families can build friendships and community

  • children, youth and families can explore the Christian faith together

Many of our leaders and volunteers are parents themselves, so we understand that family life can be wonderful, busy, exhausting – and everything in between. Whether you’re exploring church for the first time or have been part of it for years, we want Grace to feel like a place where your whole family belongs.

CLUBS AND GROUPS

There’s something for every age, with a range of groups running during the week and on Sundays.

Primary

Our midweek groups are a great way for children (and parents!) to connect, have fun and build friendships.

Secondary

Notice a theme in our group names? They may sound a little ‘lively’… and they definitely bring plenty of energy and fun – but they’re also welcoming, supportive spaces to explore faith, ask questions, and build friendships that last.

SUNDAY SERVICES FOR FAMILIES

At Grace every Sunday is a Family Service

We value worshipping together as a family ‘intergenerationally’, please be reassured; we don’t mind the noise & movement that come with young families!

The services are intentionally accessible for the whole family, including a Bitesize slot and follow-along activity sheets for young children.

There is also a retreat space in the foyer if your little one needs settling. This is set up with a few toys for them, and a livestream screen for you to continue following the service.

Bitesize - a small Bible-nugget to help connect with all ages during a Sunday Service at Grace. #Grace #Kempston

Additionally, we do offer two groups for the younger children to access during the talk at all morning services:

SPECIAL EVENTS

Especially for Families, Children & Youth

Throughout the year we have events to look out for. In a typical year, we have End of Year Family Specials for our childrens’ groups, Big Sunday Lunches, and special family services at Christmas, Easter and Remembrance Sunday.
