We meet every Sunday at the Addison Centre, Kempston.
Service times:
9:00am / 10:30am / 12:00pm (morning services are repeated)
6:00pm (evening service)
Whether you arrive early or just before the start, you’ll be made very welcome.
SAY HELLO
When you arrive, look out for our welcome team in pink t-shirts – they’re there to help you feel at ease, answer any questions, and point you in the right direction.
If you’d prefer, you can also let us know you’re coming in advance and we can arrange for someone to meet you personally when you arrive.
WHAT TO EXPECT
If you’ve never been to church before (or it’s been a while), here’s a quick idea of what a Sunday looks like:
A relaxed, informal atmosphere
A mix of music, prayer and a talk from the Bible
Duration of morning services are 1 hour (20 minute talk), evening services are a little longer
No pressure to join in anything you’re not comfortable with
Tea, coffee and conversation afterwards (optional)
You can simply come along, observe, and take things at your own pace. If you’d prefer to get a feel for things first, you’re also welcome to watch a service online before visiting in person.

Welcome – There are usually between 100-150 people at each of our services. We’re a diverse bunch made up of all ages and stages, representing over 30 different nationalities! We usually have visitors and guests attending our services – so if you’re new be assured of a warm welcome.
Songs – A mix of 4-5 modern and traditional songs and hymns, led by our band. Words are on the big screen, but if you don’t know the songs, just relax and listen. Most people will stand during any music, but feel free to sit if you wish. You might want to listen to our most regular songs on our Spotify Playlist.
Bitesize slot – A short 5-minute slot which helps everyone to engage with one short Bible truth, particularly great for children.
Children’s groups – We run groups for younger children: Bible Tots (for those aged 0-3) and Bible Explorers (for those aged 3 – up to and including school year 1). We love meeting together as a family and love having children and youth in with us throughout our services.
Sermon – Approx 20 minute preach – we always aim to be accessible and challenging for all those attending. Often following a theme or series as we work through the books of the Bible.
Prayer Corner - There will be people available at the back of the hall after our morning services if you would like someone to pray with you.
Refreshments – Are served in the foyer for 30mins after each service – a great chance to chat and get to know people a a little better.

Yes – there is parking available at the Addison Centre.

Stewards are on hand in the foyer and hall to help as well as a dedicated Welcome team (wearing pink shirts). There is also a Welcome Desk in the foyer with lots of helpful information.

No, our services are free to all, there is no expectation on visitors to pay or give and we do not take an offering during the services.

FAMILIES, CHILDREN & YOUTH
We love having children, youth and families as part of our church – and we don’t mind a bit of noise.
Our Sunday services are designed so that all ages feel welcome, and we aim to make it a place where the whole family can belong. There’s a short “Bitesize” slot during the service especially good for children.
We also run groups for younger children in the morning services:
Bible Tots – for children aged 0-3.
Bible Explorers - for those aged 3 – up to and including school year 1.

Retreat space – if you’d like to take your child out, this area has a live feed so you can stay connected to the service.

Access – There are disabled bays at the front of the car park as needed and the hall has step free access and accessible toilets.
Sound – Ear defenders are available for both children and adults and are clearly signposted as you arrive. We also have a quieter area to the side of the main hall, where the service is shown on a screen.
Resources – Our resource table offers a range of follow-along sheets, with pens and pencils provided. A selection of fidget toys is also available as you arrive.

Most people try and arrive 5-10 minutes before the service starts - time to get in, find a seat and say hello to someone nearby! For our 10:30am and 12pm services - feel free to come 15-20mins early and grab a coffee/tea ahead of the service.

Just bring yourself. Meeting guides and Bibles are provided at every service and all songs and other content is shown on the screens around the building.

Our services are held at the Addison Centre, in the middle of the wonderful Addison Howard Park.

There is lots of parking available at the Addison Centre and there will usually be a steward on hand if any help is needed. We run a one-way-system to help ease congestion between services - so, enter the car park at the entrance closest to the building.

Yes, of course - drop us an email here and we can arrange someone to look out for you at whichever services you would like to come to.
We also have a dedicated welcome team (wearing pink t-shirts) on hand to assist anyone new and a team of stewards (wearing lanyards) who are also able and willing to assist in any way they can.
Children
